S YNOPSIS

Conde-sur-Ginette, on the outskirts of a big city, miles away from the hot sand, coconut palms and the blue Caribbean Ocean. It's summer. For Tony and Jose Frelate Merguez, the two MC's neighborhood, the start is imminent. But the travel agency responsible for their ticket has zapped the name of the destination. Back to Ginette! To resurface, Tony turns into Montana Scarface way and tries to refourguer some fresh grass "kindly" lent by Zoran, brute the foot not really clay. Before making the subject of a film, The Rascals were broadcast on television. Form of skits than a minute, the series, the time of two seasons, has created the event. The Rascals phenomenon is exported and sold in more than twenty countries. Available on the Internet, the series continues today to generate a large number of clicks (20 million views). Parallel to the television series, the Lascars are also doing their show on comics.

Graduates of the Ecole des Gobelins in 1997, Albert Pereira Lazaro and Emmanuel Klotz work in Millimages since 1998. While the former specializes in the production of animated series, the second is the first assistant director on TV series. Solid duo for 10 years, they realize, with The Rascals, their debut feature film.

If the franchise has a pretty successful audiovisual producers wishing to succeed in their big screen however, are not numerous. To reassure them, the show's producers decided to create a pilot, in which they put all the ingredients for success already at the rendezvous: humor, action and a modern urban setting and unpublished while the 2D or 3D! In addition, the actors approached to ask them a voice recorded message to the attention of potential partners. The actors recorded their votes very shortly after the completion of the scenario. The dynamic range video shows unlimited, and we can only treat to let go and dive into this incredible universe farcical, which doubles as a super-achieving dynamic, sophisticated and ambitious to the border. In the wide shots, a freeze frame allows us to appreciate each range image, each plot plan. Admire the micro-details of buildings, road, rich textures applied, the fineness of the line, almost vertiginous depth of the image, and the amplitude of extreme colors on the screen. Hard to beat.
