Yes, I spoke mainly of presentations fnac there with this image that seems fast and completely distorts the movies! ^ ^ Already they do not address contrast, brightness, and the screens are connected to YUV better ...

To return to 100Hz, it is just a frame. What is bothersome, it's technology fluidity of motion (Motion Flow etc ...) I also disables the films. But not for sport or TNT HD, majority of video images.

But it is true that everyone does not ...

This is also why I scored "As long as they cling to the concept is still wonderful." So there is not the issue.
I find this rendering style does absolutely no cinema. By day it can go, but it happens nocturnal scenes I find not. It's like people who like to put their tv 100hz what, I think it's unbearable. Chaqun his thing.

    Hello,

For your comments on the image artistic side, this DV is made deliberately chosen by the director, a choice which one adheres or not but anyway it is intended by Mr. Mann and it is not at all something of missed or not mastered.

I wanted to mention because of how you tell it is the feeling that spring.

No offense intended ;) I talk just like that :)

I found the mix room rather convaiquant (HDDC, VO PCM), but I still emits far more on the subject presented on Bluray as I could see.
I assure you, I was only one sequence is particularly wince, this is an attack in the woods.
First what I remember most is the use of what I call abuse of the central channel in this scene. The overall effect is centralized on that channel, suddenly the whole thing sounds quite wrong with a lack of clarity and precision on stage before a scene and back completely silent (or are the blast, the sleeves of arms?) . Mann is realistic in its approach but it runs like the ending scene from Miami Vice with sounds of guns very intense (for they had heard of live ammunition I can assure her that n ' is not so realistic you want us to believe, especially with regard to fire short-range). This is clearly the noise made weapons that draw blank, unless you push her very hard, it's pretty unrealistic for my taste. The sound of impact is against him by typing.
Returning to the mix, the sound goes from a shy plant a huge explosion and serious fire at the rear shotgun. This is quite successful, but disagrees with the rest, a little "too much" and can be supported too. Music, she is there, with nice shades and a beautiful harmony.
For the rest of the movie the sound is clearly another level, it is full, accurate, powerful. The shooting follows the scene of the hotel, although very short none the less very impressive, very nice report with front / rear and a very good use of bass. Too bad the whole movie does not have this level of clarity.
For me the end of the film has the biggest piece of his, when Dilliger fate of cinema. Tension very well transcribed by music and sound composition of the first order. What a great job.
Overall this is more than convincing, but far from perfect. By trying to stick to a surplus of realism, some passages seem to sound less fair than others, and so destabilize the viewer.

Regarding the image is the Miami Vice Bis, the HD on HD, with a documentary made ugly enough in night scenes but overall a film more watchable than Miami Vice. Mann should build on Fincher, the only one who managed to make something really beautiful in HD without having that horrible feeling of seeing a film shot in DV. Little we cling to the concept is still wonderful, but hey if the film was shot on 35mm it would have really had more mouths, so damage.

The film itself is excellent, after the total failure scenario Miami Vice and as empty as the play of his players it's nice to see Mann in great shape. The film is taking, especially in the second part is, shame about the video appearance from disrupting the mood at times and get us out of the film.
