- W elcome, Philippe Lioret, available on Blu-Ray region B at Warner Bros.
To impress and win back his wife, Simon, lifeguard at the pool of Calais, take the risk to secretly help a young Kurdish refugee who wants to cross the English Channel.
Lioret sign a sensitive and moving work, the publisher, Warner, present in very much higher than those of its North American production. The image will remain beautiful and playful, very elegantly dressed in a silver grain, which in turn gives it texture and tonal balance. But this section will sound that will attract the most attention, is respectful of stamps and a dynamic atmosphere. The codec DTS-HD Master Audio 5.1 is used wisely. It trasncende the soundstage and his whole perception. The 24 bit depth signal is feeling so strong, and Assen many favorites. The dialogues are very fair, and the soundstage deep, thick, of light years to other Warner productions. A difference of means and codec that perceives itself dramatically. Volume and dynamics are being doped, showing a very balanced and very sensitive values. What we enthuse over time, and offer an excellent edition in every way, with a small flat for employment very minor and superficial back of the stage
However, the spectral width of the frontal arc largely compensates this pitfall, and allows the film to offer content Lioret acoustic compound with tact, free and a nice fresh sound.
When will other editions of the same ilk?
