T he latest installment of the saga, shot entirely in 3D sometimes startling results, will be released by New Line (Warner Bros.) on Blu-Ray region A, from 5 January. The 3D version will be preserved, probably introduced through anaglyph glasses, as well as the 2D version. Both will be presented in 1080p, 2.40:1 CinemaScope format. A track DTS-HD Master Audio 5.1 (a very good point by the publisher) will be responsible for restoring all the violence of the soundtrack, leitmotiv of the entire saga, from the beginning, has always benefited from a sound design and the mixing amazing true ballad akin to horror story of a ghost train ....
Besides the additional scenes / cut, the Blu-ray edition will feature alternate endings (another classic of the saga), and featurettes ("The Final Destination: Storyboards and previsualization," "Body Count: The Deaths on The Final Destination" ). Now the required digital copy of the film will also be included with all compatible with Macs or PCs.
No doubt a must have for future cinéphages in lack of emotions and sensations which, moreover, will be readable in Area B, the editor who never cared to zone titles. Until proven otherwise ...
