RECORD YEAR FOR M6 VIDEO IN 2009
W ith a Twilight - Twilight, M6 Video is No. 1 market video:
920,000 copies sold in total in all networks, or a conversion rate (sales / video inputs hall) outstanding more than 32%. First place in sales DVD / Blu-ray Network Traditional (GSA / GSS - GFK panel) with 810 000 copies in front of Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince (about 790,000) and Ice Age 3 (about 770,000).
5 M6 Video titles are in the Top 50 films of the genre:
- Twilight
- The Incredible Hulk
- Predictions
- Iron Man
- Underworld 3
Also very successful in convincing the Off-Film:
Foresti & Friends is the first new segment Humor and third on the total non-movie with 130,000 units (behind Apocalypse and the last show of Gad Elmaleh). Success also in the TV series, Book 6 for Britney which obtains the second position in this segment with close to 85,000 boxes (behind House Season 4), 9th place on the total Off-Film.
SND is therefore positioned in 2009 as a number of independent publishers in the traditional network perimeter (excluding subsidiaries of the majors).
