Universal offers the classic Guy Ritchie are all pressing in a strong way. The image suffers more than anything else in its path to high definition. From the first moments, grain, magnified and highlighted appeared, and seems not to benefit from an optimized compression, unlike other areas of the image. Its presence is systematic, part of the process of staging, but in the absence of a cleaning and optimization whatsoever on the part of the editor, the results are artificial. This title catalog, available for 20 Euros, however, offers a degree of definition significantly above its DVD release (all areas), and offers contrasts invigorated and expanded. Color palette so specific to the film has been preserved, with its rust tones, ocher or yellowish, who all have a nice dynamic range. Some notable defects in the grain compression tarnish a whole certainly compelling, but somewhat out "in a hurry", without special treatment.
ITS
DTS-HD Master Audio 5.1: English (French, Italian, Spanish DTS 5.1 ... Mi Flow)
24 Bit, 48 Khz
OFFSET: no
The film sees this time presented in DTS-HD Master Audio at 24 Bit, away from the bitter Dolby Digital 5.1 DVD. Because of its limited budget and production conditions so singular, no need to expect a demonstration in order. The dialogues occupy the center of the soundstage not without authority, and despite the fact that some ring hollow, all shows are balanced and pleasant tones of mediums. Only pop and rock songs that brighten the film will benefit from the stereo composed enough capability of the mixer, where this openness and warmth welcome sound sometimes, without a set a little rough. The LFE channel is still very poorly integrated, or absent ... and not by any brand relevance. It's the same for the rear stage, which, if it knows how to present during the shootings or some abstract sound effects that highlight key moments, really never profit from his power of recovery, offering no perspective or content special acoustics. The codec DTS-HD Master Audio amplifies the frequency response and to dominate the sound engine of the film with a verve and an opening more obvious than on the DVD, but his virtues still struggling to emerge. Nevertheless, there remains a sense of openness and frank tone barely more accomplished listening to this soundtrack more traditional in terms of mixing than anything else, but whose strong character (shootings, shocking scenes) are bound not energize the heart finesse with the speakers.
