F ollowing the widespread disappointment with the release of the Blu-Ray edition of Gladiator (section image showed very disappointing indeed ... crippled with edge enhancement), there are some months, it seems that many water has flowed under the bridge ... According to our colleagues digitalbits.com, and in his famous "rumor mill", the news came down, very discreetly, since no one really seems to have increased. To quote Bill Hunt, Paramount has just finalized completely remastered version of the epic from Ridley Scott. Fresh (it dates from one or two months), she was ready to flood the market in late summer or fall. Zero doubt that the track DTS-HD Master Audio 5.1 will be retained.
The source? It would come from an official of studios that have "leaked" information ... To bring a little more water to the mill, the release date would coincide with the DVD release and Blu-Ray Robin Hood, the last production filmmaker.
Only time will tell us more!
