PRESS KIT
Arthur and the Revenge of Maltazard 'is the second installment in the trilogy of the Minimoys by Luc Besson made. The second film was released in France in December 2009. Its end is open and spectators will to wait for the third installment, 'The War of Two Worlds', for knowing the outcome of history. Moreover, the last two films were shot with the same period (the actor Freddie Hughman growing fast)
It is the voice actress Barbara Kelsch who was again asked to embody the character of Arthur in its "animated" (motion capture). She had already worked with Luc Besson in ensuring the French voice of Arthur in the first episode (this time it's Yann Laboutière that replaces), but also that of Leeloo (Milla Jovovich in VO) Inthe Fifth Element in 1997.
Breton heart and home, wandering in fact, tried by medicine,
passion by journalist, traveler and observer of curiosity, Nicolas
Hulot likes to recall that he "was not born environmentalist, but he is
devenu».
meetings that led to an across the globe, has gradually
forged his fight for ecology and more generally for a
more humanistic approach in the world.
After a few months in medical school, he held several small
boulots et découvre la photo. Göksin Sipahioglu, creator of the agency
SIPA Press trusts him; Nicolas Hulot made his photojournalism
first job. He travels the world and for 5 years and has witnessed
of significant national and international events, particularly in Africa
Southern or South Africa with the events leading up to the end
de l'apartheid. The picture leads naturally to an interest in the press
written and spoken, and he had the opportunity to go to France Inter. From 1978 to
1987 he was a journalist and producer of several shows. It innovates
in methods of reporting, making himself an actor of adventures that
fait vivre en direct à ses auditeurs. Thus he notes some challenges
as the descent of the Zambezi to paddle or sits at the North Pole
geographically with the first single-engine aircraft. In 1987, chance of
A simple experiment which
should last a few months, and that turns into a real
slice of life.
Far "(1987-1995)," Opération Okavango "(1996-1997) and finally
"Ushuaia Nature" (since 1998).

DTS-HD Master Audio 5.1 ES: French and English (not PCM as shown on the cover)
24 Bit, 96 Khz (VO and VF) at a rate of 7.3 Mbps
OFFSET: no
Another surprising aspect of this edition Blu-Ray: the transfer rate of the digital audio soundtrack, unique in Zone B French, and the definition and the sampling frequency used. Indeed, with its 7.3 Mbps, its real and its 24 Bit 96 Khz, this edition stands out as a technical reference to which is added the presence of a center rear channel matrixed (for rendering in 6.1). Behind these containers high bill, which immediately enter an area seldom explored by the HD said, he remains at large end, a disappointment across the board ...
And why, we know for a long time, and we come from Didier Lozahic, with his head Europacorp. On the occasion of an interview a few years ago, it was revealed that we all DVD editions Europacorp undergoing treatment in order to adapt mastering the soundtrack to a home environment. This practice, visibly extended Blu-Ray, wants positive for many, but, you know, we never will adhere to the principle method of purifying the mix and to break down, often extensions frequency and defined. For this production, as strong as the numbers are invoked, the result remains relatively flat, with a soundstage certainly well managed, but that materializes any extent of its capabilities in terms of definition and resolution. Ultimately quite banal, the result is disappointing across the board, and also shows relevant, if not less, than any other production encoded in DTS-HD Master Audio, but presented in 24-bit, 48 kHz, with a transfer rate 3.5 Mbps ... least twice.
The channel subwoofers suffers most from this castration technique: Now it remains flat and scale, producing low and neutral shallow. The rest of the soundstage remains, however, far more convincing, with a spatial rendering sometimes impressive, does not hesitate to multiplex point counts and disseminate acoustic information in the heart of a wide and spacious soundstage, generating at the same time listening comfort very sharp, pleasant-sounding and varied. The VO is required listening for itself, the French version sounded artificial and sometimes cavernous, with echoes unsightly residual (dubbing auditorium). The scale is present, the rear stage put to good with some good humor, mixing 6.1 (without being intrusive) fair and balanced, mobile and airy, but overall there is no real definition strikingly expressive and restraint are audible on across the spectrum involved in this feeling of disappointment, when some event sounds have their substance as 'erased' and erased ...
