D uring the U.S. occupation of Baghdad in 2003, Chief Warrant Officer Roy Miller and his men have a mission to find weapons of mass destruction believed to be stored in the Iraqi desert. Tossed a bomb site to another, the soldiers soon discover a plot that changes the important purpose of their mission. Shadowed by agents, Miller must seek answers that will either eliminate a rogue regime or escalate a war in an unstable region. In a short time and in this explosive area, he will discover that truth is the most elusive weapon of all. The story revolves around the U.S. actions in Iraq and how the provisional government, organized by the Bush administration, was made up of loyal friends of the President rather than personalities efficient and capable. Why does someone have placed at the head of the Iraqi government, who can speak Arabic? Why had not engaged specialists for social reconstruction after the war?
Nervous, restless, brilliant, strong technical mastery of an unstoppable and sensitivity of an art film, the latest film by British director Paul Greengrass, Green Zone, has just been announced by Universal in Zone A (output on June 27) and B (our French zone, planned for release in August 19). A Blu-Ray edition event for one of the best productions of cinema in recent times. Program, the film will be presented in the format CinemaScope 2.35 in 1080p HD. The soundtrack (English), will be encoded in DTS-HD Master Audio 5.1, for acoustic results that we long to discover uncompressed.
