AMERICAN BEAUTY finally in High Definition. "Smile, You're at Mr. Smiley's! "

T masterpiece (let's not mince words) which marked the debut film directed by Sam Mendes, always announced and then delayed, has finally been confirmed for release zone A, at Paramount, the September 21. The film will be published in the prestigious collection "Sapphire Series" Paramount / Dreamwoks (original producer and distributor), and will transfer to 1080p (no mention was made about any remastering), and shall as was the case in DVD (Zone 1), a track encoded with DTS sound, as its declination DTS-HD Master Audio 5.1. The film, its producer Steven Spielberg considered a great classic, had been potting five Oscars in his time, including Best Film and Best Cinematography (Conrad Hall).

If the soundtrack does not propose to multichannel outburst, it is nonetheless a superb green setting enhance the unforgettable clothing replicas, and carried away by the score at the lowest outstanding Thomas Newman. A work memorable, strong and striking, which was sorely desired in High Definition, but, finally, will come under the best auspices. No mention, for now, a release in Area B. Prudence of rigor: the series "Sapphire" does not usually say to propose a systematic 'rezoning' to read the cake in Zone B.
