M ythique and monumental, Apocalypse Now, the saga by Francis Ford Coppola, is preparing to revive its best on the occasion of an output Blu-Ray Event. Scheduled for October 19th at Lionsgate, the film produced by American Zoetrope has been fully restored and will be presented in both versions in this exceptional box also provided nine hours of extras. A single output area is currently advertised, and no details are available regarding its readability in Zone B ....
The first two Blu-Ray edition will offer the film in its two versions / editing, and nine hours of extras, while a second edition, identical to the previous form of enclosure, the documentary also will include legendary Heart of Darkness more archives, film stills and a booklet (48 pages). The film will be presented in 1080p and 2.55 (both original format that has raised worries in the video incarnations, including the version "Redux" film), as well as DTS-HD Master Audio 5.1. The previous edition DVD of the film, Apocalypse Now Redux, already had that mix history (the first use of split surrounds, dear to the rear stereo surround sound 5.1) signed by Walter Murch simple Dolby Digital, and both artistic and technical results were often staggering: bass insane, monumental work, fine rendering unsuspected, dialogues beautifully highlighted and high-impact and clarity unmatched .... etc. This track DTS-HD Master Audio 5.1 should logically render further expand and magnify the global dynamics.
