F urieusement crazy, the legendary Rocky Horror Picture Show, boxed by Jim Sharman, will be available in a publishing event, Blu-Ray (zone A in the first place), on 19 October. This British rock opera, with strong accents of high value musical horror, this opportunity will benefit a total cleaning and a more technically qu'enthousiasmante edition. On the one hand, a picture remastering from 4K and 2K Masters, heralded as the most accurate ever made to date for the operation of the video film. A track DTS-HD Master Audio 7.1, on the other hand, will complement an already idyllic. Finally, the Fox, which owns the operating rights, does not seem to skimp on resources, since addition of supplements already familiar to fans for nearly 15 years, this new edition will be equipped with new segments, and a 24 page booklet (digibook way), including a fashion picture-in-picture and BD-Live access full.
According to our sources of information (to verify, however, it is here that an assumption), the studio Mi Casa has the look and sound processing in 7.1 spatialised remastering of original soundtrack in mono (also included on this edition). The studio has worked with the publisher, Fox, for the event emerged from The Sound of Music, which will have a similar sound processing, in 7.1 discrete. The less good news is about the past performance of audio processing performed by the studio, that we are not particularly close to our hearts because of its practices réégalisations wild and 'planing' key coming frequencies diminish the relevance and musical given frequency soundtracks ... All this is waiting to be checked.
UPDATE: The French exit zone B has been announced for September 15th.
